Why did Beyond PMSA participate in the ACNC review?
Beyond PMSA is committed to demanding accountability and transparency of the governance of our four great schools.
In our review of best practice in the charitable sector, and in particular, best practice in the non-government school sector, we identified some areas for improvement for organisations currently constituted by Letters Patent, such as the PMSA.
This lead Beyond PMSA to participate in the ACNC Legislative review currently being conducted by the Treasury Department. In our submission, we fully supported the ACNC's own submission to provide for better investigative and compliance powers, better communication around compliance activity and more transparent reporting by non-government schools.
Beyond PMSA is committed to being an active participant in developing the solution to the issues facing our four great schools, and we aim to positively influence change for the better.
