ONE SIMPLE ACT OF FAITH AND RESPECT

The PMSA are having their next Board meeting this evening.  As we stated at our Town Hall meeting last Monday night, we all acknowledge that the PMSA Board are powerless to decide whether they will reincorporate under the Associations Incorporation Act and relinquish their Letters Patent because it requires a decision to be made by both Churches. 

HOWEVER, it IS within the power of the PMSA Board to pass a resolution to formally approach both the Uniting and Presbyterian Church Moderators to seek an urgent decision on whether they will agree to allow the PMSA to do so, and if not to provide full and honest reasoning for their decision.

One simple act that is within the power of the PMSA Board to deliver.  An act that would deliver a strong message to the community that it respects community concerns enough to at least ask the question. 

It’s not hard.  It’s not complicated.  All you have to do is ask.

Will the PMSA Board pass that resolution tonight?
