Are we seeing Deloitte Report implementation after all? - Understanding the difference between organ

Many remember the catalyst for the creation of Beyond PMSA about 18 months ago was the data breach and subsequent marching of the highly regarded Principal from Somerville House amid reports of lewd texts and nude spa meetings. One of the other dramatic pieces of information to emerge was that of the "Deloitte Report" which proposed the merging of the four schools run by the PMSA each to be operated as a business unit with Principals losing the right to run their school's autonomously and not being able to maintain each school's individual culture and unique history.

The Deloitte Report proposed structure included a PMSA Chief Operating Officer/CEO with a supporting Corporate Services Function including the following departments - Finance, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, Procurement and Other (including marketing and communications). Now let's look at the roles that have been advertised by the PMSA so far......

Chief Executive Officer - Sharon Callister commenced in August 2018
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary - Joanne Segond von Banchet commenced in January 2019
Group Executive - Human Resources position currently advertised as a new position to be filled.
Communications Manager - Caroline Thurlow commenced in February 2018

So let's see how many of the Deloitte recommended corporate functions have either been filled or advertised so far:-

COO/CEO - Yes (CEO appointed)
Finance - Yes (CFO appointed)
HR - Yes (Group Exec - HR advertised)
IT - not yet
Facilities - not yet
Procurement - not yet
Other - Communication - Yes (Comms Manager appointed), Marketing - not yet

Of the eight defined functions proposed by Deloitte four have been filled or advertised so that sounds to me like 50% of the roles.

Does it sound to you like the PMSA has listened?

Does it sound like they have heard what the four school's communities have said?

Does it sound like the PMSA is working towards "healing"?

I think the answer to those questions is a resounding "no" but the answer to the question about whether the Deloitte report is being implemented........I know you are all smart enough to work that one out for yourselves!
